Donations of Equipment, Materials and Funds
Our Mens Shed is an initiative by members of your local community. We rely on donations of equipment, materials and funds from private individuals, the corporate sector and other community groups. This funds our operating and material costs.
MSAE are governed by a set of rules and policies that require us to record your donation and agreement, This agreement is to help ensure that your donation is handled respectfully and appropriately for the benefit of members and the community.
Occasionally, we receive donations that duplicate existing
equipment or materials that we are
unable to use.
In these situations we treat your donation as follows;
- Dispose of the donation to raise funds.
- Donate to another Mens Shed to assist their establishment, or to fill a need.
- Donate to another community group for the purpose of conducting a community project, eg; Habitat for Humanity, Lions, Rotary etc.
Best practice and legal requirements in regard to
Not for Profit organisations require donations of equipment, or funds, and any
proceeds of donations to be separately recorded.
If you wish to donate any Equipment or Materials please contact MSAE first to ensure we are able to make use of them and arrange drop off or pickup as appropriate.
