Events - September 2025 - ShedMusic'25

13 members of our Music group, including some partners, attended the first International Mens Shed Music Festival at Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast in Australia over the weekend of 6-7th September.

Around 200 people attended with 20 music groups from around Australia and New Zealand.

Thanks to all who participated from our club. It was a surprise that so many were keen to participate. Coolum Shed were over the moon that we attended and will use us in future fundraising efforts as next year will be a BOOMER !.

The event was recorded with TV standard equipment and will be professionally produced and sent all over Australasia to motivate a bigger turnout in 2026.

Thanks to Harry for the photography and organising the group meals, Mal for the videos and Dene for all his hard work with bookings and co-ordinating the visits.

And a special thanks to Alan Simpson and Sidney Neale, our star players, for driving us all to peak performance, to really impress the Aussies.

It was a great opportunity for us all to get to know each other and our partners better, bringing us all closer as a community.

What a great event! We all look forward to what next year's event brings.
