Membership Moratorium
Mens Shed Auckland East Inc. has instituted a moratorium on new memberships at this time.
We are maintaining a New Member enquiry list, organized by the date each enquiry is received.
Quarterly, we review our overall membership numbers and invite applicants from the enquiry list in groups of up to ten to fill any available vacancies.
At present, our facility has reached full capacity, and the estimated wait time for new membership is approximately four to six months.

Mens Shed Auckland East (MSAE) is a non-profit, incorporated society and registered charity.

To join, contact us by email or come into the shed during our opening times below. Look for the duty manager in the yellow jacket, or ask anyone around the shed to direct you to him.

You will be shown around our facilities, introduced to members and briefed on the work we do.

You will need to complete an application form. You can download and complete this Membership Application Form (fillable PDF), or fill it in when you visit.

Before we process an application we do ask that you visit the shed to make sure our shed life is what you are looking for.

We focus heavily on safety and comradeship, so you will be made to feel safe and welcome.

Our shed is open to anyone over 20 years of age. However Mens Shed were developed primarily for retired people.
